Windows XP problem

How to prevent Windows restarting after a system failure

By default, XP will automatically restart after a "crash" or system failure. It can be helpful to turn this feature off as you can usually tell from the error page what was the probable cause.

Right-click on My Computer - choose Properties - choose Advanced
Startup and Recovery - Settings - untick Automatically Restart - click on OK
